01Do I need to link my bank account?
No. No bank password, no linking. You add your accounts yourself, and CashRoot matches your bank SMS to them.

No. On Android, CashRoot reads your bank SMS as they arrive and logs them; anything it isn't sure about waits for your OK. On iPhone, you set up a Shortcut once. You can also log by voice on phones that support it, and recurring income like your salary logs itself.
